Rezoning would substantially increase the number of allowed residents within this area which only has one way out, over a railroad, in a water locked peninsula. A change in current zoning will result in significant impact, safety concerns and detract from the quality of life on the peninsula

Our current campaign is for $5.5 million to purchase 130 acres located at Broward Road and North Main Street in Jacksonville, Florida. Once purchased, this land and waterway will be placed in a conservation easement and donated to the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens.
